Dear Friends and Global Scientists,
The Grand PhD has been established by the Academie of Europeene Informatization and the World Information Distributed University to solve global problems, be it poverty, human suffering, political sanctions, environmental burdens, or other human needs in world societies and social disciplines. It is the hope of the AEI-WIDU by creating the Grand PhD degree, which ranks the highest degree in education both in philosophy and science; to equip a world forum in solving world problems. The requirements for this degree are intense research, study, and training of 10-20 doctors, the presentation of over 100 scientific works and three monographs. These works focus on the person living, or merely existing, in today's society with its vast problems that affect lives every day. The goal of finding solutions to these
problems is not only expedient, but requires a higher degree of learning and knowledge - the Grand PhD,
moving beyond the BA,MA, PhD platform by establishing the fourth tier of higher education -
the Grand PhD.
We cannot exist in part or in whole without concerning ourselves to a higher goal - that of solving global problems. We are in this world together, it is our separate and joint responsibility to contribute to the scientific world of technology and theory. Albert Schweitzer devoted his life in helping to solve problems of society by providing medical aide to hurting people. We cannot ignore our responsibilities!
It is for these scientists (over 300 awarded the Grand PhD) who have cared enough for the world in order to make it a better place to live, that Dr. Eduard Evreinov has created the Academie of Europeene Informatization and the World Information Distributed University. By order of King Albert II of Belgium, the Order of Science, Education, and Culture was established; and set precedence to these global issues.
One example of a global problem is that of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA where
thousands of people were stranded in the broken levy floods who sought shelter at the superdome.
This has been an ongoing problem since the hurricane happened in 2005 because hospitals and homes were destroyed, people were scattered over many states, and many are still living in inadequate housing. The rebuilding of New Orleans is taking it's toll on many.
Another example of a global problem is the catastrophic event of 911 where the twin towers in New York, USA were destroyed by aircraft. Many people lost their lives, many were injured, and the Iraqi War is still raging, which causes global problems too numerous to mention.
There have recently been people who are making great efforts in attempting to solve these problems. For example, the Board on American Idol (a music contest on Television) has established a foundation where funds are used to help victims of Katrina, and the poor children in Africa. Bill Gates, Franklin Graham, President Jimmy Carter, and James Robison with Life International; all have established funds to help meet special needs of the poor. Providing food and clean drinking water are two of their goals. I know of people who have established schools, nurses training stations, hospitals, refugee camps, and helped in India and surrounding regions to rebuild people's lives who have been victims of natural disasters, and wars. There are more "little ships" on the sea of life to be cared for. This is why scientists the world over are seeking a higher education degree and are engaged in solving global problems.
In helping a person reach for his/her Grand PhD Degree with the AEI and WIDU, Scholarship Sources International-SSI is founded to help supply funds necessary for the candidate to receive the Grand PhD. You may send an email to me, Dr. Shirley M. Jacobsen, Founder of Scholarship Sources International to sjcdshop@yahoo.com requesting the application. Be sure to put "registration" in the subject line and include your name, mailing address, telephone number, and project you have chosen.
